Temecula Valley Unified School District - Overview
Board Majority
Extremists funded by Tim Thompson of 412 Temecula currently hold the school board majority. These members include: Joseph Komrosky (President), Danny Gonzalez (Member) and Jen Weirsma (Clerk). These members were funded by Tim Thompson's IE Family Pac.
CRT Ban
Temecula school board extremists voted to ban CRT during the December 13, 2022 meeting. This resulted in student walkouts, protests and a huge lawsuit filed against the district.
Parental Notifcation Policy
The parental rights policy that will out LGBTQ students to their parents was passed 3-2 on August 22, 2023.
Proposed Pride Flag Ban
During the Sept 12, 2023 board meeting, the school board plans to ban all flags except for the US and CA State flags.
