Board Majority
Currently the CVUSD school board has an extremist majority which includes: Sonja Shaw (president), Jonathan Monroe (vp), James Na (member), and Andrew Cruz (clerk)
Calvary Chapel Chino Hills
Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel has been the main connection between CVUSD and Turning Point USA and the Family Resource Council. Charlie Kirk of TPUSA and Tony Perkins of FRC are both heavily involved with the school board chaos.
Parental Notification Policy
CVUSD was the first school district in SoCal to pass the parental notification policy that will out LGBTQ students to their parents without their consent. The policy was passed on 7/20/23. There is a CVUSD outside agitator group photo from the 7/20/23 meeting that shows a lot of the outside agitators that came from other areas to support the passing of the policy.
